Ribbon Mic Parts
Artur Fisher, the founder of DIY Audio Components, have been making the ribbon microphone motors for pro audio DIY enthusiasts since 2010. Later on, the first version of the original slim body was introduced, which actually didn't change much since the very beginning, improving mostly in processing quality and visual appearance. In 2012 after a long R&D work the concept of original toroidal output transformer was designed, prototyped and successfully tested. Later in the same year the serial production was launched.
Now, together with everyday serial manufacturing routines and production of existing part types, Artur Fisher and DIY Audio Components' team keep working on research, improvements, experiments and new designs for DIY ribbon microphone enthusiast community and pro audio market.
