Stainless Steel Body for RE-254/RE-323 Ribbon Microphone Motors.
RM-5BS is a premium quality body designed to accept RE-254 or RE-323 ribbon microphone motors and the most of the stock output transformers including our own RTP-35 toroidal trafo. The body is made by a local machine shop from carefully selected stainless steel tubing and hand-polished (technically speaking, grinded) for our signature matte appearance.
The RM-5BS body accepts the RE-254 or RE-323 motors into the top cap and fits the most stock output transformers. The inner diameter of the body is 25 mm (1"), so check the datasheet of the transformer of your choice.
Every body includes stainless steel inner grill and original XLR receptacle with gold-plated pins.
